Terms of use
These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Anisya platform, operated by Anisya Impact Pte Ltd (UEN 202612967E) (“Anisya”, “we”, “us”). By using anisya.com or the Anisya mobile app, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the platform
Anisya is an open employment marketplace connecting migrant domestic workers and employers in Singapore. We facilitate direct connections — we are not an employment agency and do not charge placement fees to workers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Anisya. Employer accounts are intended for individuals or households in Singapore seeking to hire a domestic worker. Worker accounts are intended for migrant domestic workers seeking employment in Singapore.
3. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current information in your profile. You must not impersonate another person or create multiple accounts.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Post misleading, false, or discriminatory content
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Attempt to circumvent platform features or security measures
- Scrape, collect, or harvest user data without consent
- Use the platform to recruit for agencies or charge placement fees
5. Subscriptions and payments
Workers use Anisya for free. Employers may subscribe to a paid plan to unlock messaging features. Payments are processed securely via Stripe in Singapore Dollars (SGD). All subscriptions are one-time charges with no automatic renewal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at hello@anisya.com.
6. Anisya Transfer Pledge
The Anisya Transfer Pledge is a voluntary commitment by employers to uphold fair employment practices. It is not a legally binding contract. By taking the pledge, you agree to:
- Fair transfer practices — if your worker wishes to transfer, you will provide a fair reference and not obstruct the process, in line with MOM guidelines
- Rest day rights — your worker will receive the rest days they are entitled to under their employment contract, without pressure to forgo them
- Open communication — you will maintain respectful communication with your worker about expectations, concerns, and feedback
- No hidden deductions — your worker's salary will be paid in full and on time, with no unauthorised deductions
Employers who take the pledge receive a visible badge on their profile and access to discounted subscription tiers (Pledge at S$59, Advocate at S$39 for returning subscribers). Anisya reserves the right to revoke pledge status if credible reports of violations are received. Revocation of pledge status does not affect any active subscription period.
7. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you post (profile information, messages, photos). By posting content on Anisya, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform. The Anisya name, logo, and platform design are the property of Anisya Impact Pte Ltd.
8. AI assistant (Ani)
Anisya uses an AI assistant called Ani to help users navigate the platform. Ani provides general guidance and information — it does not provide legal, financial, or immigration advice. Conversations with Ani are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models.
9. Privacy
Your use of Anisya is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
10. Limitation of liability
Anisya facilitates connections between employers and workers. We do not guarantee the suitability, reliability, or conduct of any user. We are not a party to any employment agreement formed through the platform. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anisya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use of Anisya after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
