The Anisya Transfer Pledge is a voluntary commitment by employers to uphold fair practices when hiring and working with domestic workers. Employers who take the pledge agree to:

The commitments

Fair transfer practices — if your worker wishes to transfer, you will provide a fair reference and not obstruct the process. A worker's right to seek new employment is protected under MOM guidelines.

Rest day rights — your worker will receive the rest days they are entitled to under their employment contract, without pressure to forgo them.

Open communication — you will maintain open, respectful communication with your worker about expectations, concerns, and feedback.

No hidden deductions — your worker's salary will be paid in full and on time, with no unauthorised deductions.

Why it matters

The domestic worker employment market in Singapore has long been intermediated by agencies who charge workers significant fees. Workers who want to transfer between employers often face obstacles — withheld references, delayed paperwork, or pressure to stay.

The Anisya Transfer Pledge signals to workers that an employer is committed to a fair working relationship from day one. Employers who take the pledge earn a visible badge on their profile, helping them attract workers who value respectful employment.

What pledge-takers get

  • Access to the Pledge subscription tier at S$59 (40% less than Standard)
  • When you renew, access to the Advocate tier at just S$39
