We have been quiet for a while, and we owe you an update.
Anisya started with a simple idea: that domestic workers and employers in Singapore should be able to find each other directly, without paying heavy agency fees. That idea has not changed. What has changed is how we are bringing it to life.
Since we paused operations in August 2024, we have been listening, learning, and rebuilding. We spoke to employers who told us that finding the right helper felt like guesswork. We spoke to workers who told us that the job search process felt impersonal and stacked against them. Both sides wanted something better.
So we went back to the drawing board.
What is different this time
We are not ready to share every detail just yet, but here is what we can tell you.
The core of Anisya remains the same: an open marketplace where workers list their profiles for free and employers connect with them directly. No placement fees for workers. No middlemen.
What is new is how we help both sides make better decisions. We have invested in technology that understands what matters to you — not just skills and salary, but the things that make a working relationship actually work. We believe that a good match is about more than a checklist, and we have built tools to reflect that.
We have also thought hard about what happens after a hire is made. Most platforms disappear once the contract is signed. We think that is a missed opportunity. The first few months of a new employment are when both sides need the most support, and we want to be there for that.
